I’m Kristen Mastel.
A certified forest therapy guide, herbalist and health coach. After facing career and personal burnout, I found that taking the time to be out in nature whether a walk with my pup, Jiggsy, or out on the trails solo was (and still is) crucial to my mental and physical health and burnout recovery. I feel honored to be able to take part in & share the healing power of nature in Minnesota (and virtually) with you!

About me
The story of
Kristen Mastel
I am an academic librarian, and after pushing myself to receive Librarian status (kinda like a full professor), going to school, volunteering, being a Well Spouse, and dealing with my own personal chronic health issues I hit burnout BIG TIME. Through developing a solid morning and evening routine, setting boundaries, daily walks in nature, and nourishing my body with nutritious foods and herbs I began to feel like myself again. I had more energy again.
I decided to become a health and wellness coach that specializes in burnout and chronic illnesses, as I have seen how they go hand-in-hand. I enjoy the problem-solving and research that goes into helping those with chronic health issues live a full life and helping those that are stressed regain a connection with themselves and the world around them.
I have been recognized as one of the Top Health Coaches by Coach Foundation. Also, in 2022 was Top 3 experience for my forest bathing sessions by the Twin Cities Collective.
